Patina

Louis XIII Patina is specially designed for the traditional maintenance of indoor floor tiles, whether antique or modern: terracotta, floor tiles, natural stone, and more. A true nourishing treatment, it restores life to floors by providing a warm glow and a lustrous finish while respecting the original natural tones. Enriched with beeswax and turpentine, this patina penetrates deeply, preventing crumbling and wear caused by the drying out of porous materials. Its waterproofing action effectively protects against water stains, grease, and other dirt. Over time and with successive applications, it develops a beautiful, authentic patina typical of old floors.

Preparation:

Store the product at room temperature before use to facilitate application.

The floor must be clean, dry and, preferably, treated with Louis XIII Anti-Stain Impregnator for optimal protection.

Application:

Apply a thin, even coat using a cloth, a cotton wick, or a suitable brush.

Number of coats:

Repeat the process: several coats may be necessary to obtain a deep and resistant patina, depending on the porosity of the floor.

Drying and buffing:

Allow to dry between each coat, then buff to bring out the natural shine.

Maintenance:

The patina strengthens over time and with regular maintenance.
