Copper Deoxidizer

Louis XIII Deoxidizer is specially formulated to clean and revive metals such as copper, brass, bronze, and pewter. It effectively removes all traces of oxidation and restores the metal to its original color without using harsh acids that could damage the surfaces. Gentle yet effective, it is suitable for both antique and modern metals. To prolong the resulting shine and prevent rapid re-oxidation, it is recommended to apply a protective coating after treatment using a suitable maintenance product, such as Louis XIII Polishing Paste or AVEL Copper, Brass, and Bronze cleaner.

Apply the deoxidizer to a soft cloth or cotton wad.

Rub the oxidized surface until the marks disappear.

Wipe and polish with a clean cloth.

For long-lasting protection, then apply Louis XIII Polishing Paste or AVEL Copper, Brass & Bronze cleaner.
