Bone Glue in Pearls

Louis XIII Cabinetmaking Glue is specially formulated for gluing and assembling wood indoors. Ideal for restoration work and furniture making, it offers a very fast setting time and strong adhesion, perfect for rigid assemblies such as chairs, tables, or woodwork. This traditional, economical, and ultra-resistant glue also allows for easy disassembly if needed, by heating it to approximately 70°C. It is particularly prized in cabinetmaking for its effectiveness and compatibility with ancient techniques.

• Natural animal glue (such as hide or rabbit skin glue)
• Free from chemical solvents

Heat the glue in a double boiler until it reaches a fluid consistency.

Apply to the surfaces to be joined while they are still warm.

Assemble the parts immediately and keep them under pressure while setting (fast).

Clean off excess glue before it hardens completely.

If disassembly is required, heat the glued area to 70°C to soften the glue.
